Our providers are here to answer the call!  We provide critical, advanced, or basic life support for hospital patients during medical transport. We also can be contracted for events or organizations needing stand-by onsite EMS medical response or supervision.

TIMOTHY SCHILLING

President and Founder

ANDREW FORGASH M.D.

Medical Director

Tim Schilling is a retired decorated police sergeant with over 20 years in public service as critical care flight paramedic and police/flight officer, certified tactical SWAT paramedic, and EMS/police instructor. He has 24-plus years prehospital experience.  He has worked as a critical care paramedic in private ground transport for over a decade.  He successfully managed and oversaw a Level 1 Trauma Center  PICU/NICU ground transport team for 9 years.  A father of 8, Tim founded this company along with his family to build a highly trained medical team dedicated to the safety of the patients it seeks to serve.

Dr. Andrew Forgash is a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician who has a combined 30 years of experience in the medical field as an EMS provider, medical researcher, Emergency Department administrator and Northern Virginia EMS agency Operational Medical Director.    

 

Dr. Forgash obtained a Master in Physiology degree at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Tulane School of Medicine.  Following his Emergency Medicine Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, he became the Assistant Director of Emergency Medicine and Director of Quality Assurance/Quality Management for Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Florida.  In 2010, Dr. Forgash moved to Northern Virginia to accepted an Emergency Department Attending position at INOVA Fairfax Hospital where he practiced for 7 years.  He has practiced at Novant Health UVA Haymarket and Prince William Medical Centers, and is currently practicing at Fauquier Hospital. For the six years Dr. Forgash served as Assistant Medical Director for the Fairfax County Police Department.

STEVEN MACKIE

Amanda Hodges has over 20 years of nursing experience including emergency room and pediatrics specialties.   She has worked across multiple health care settings in the Northern Virginia area including primary care, acute care, and community health.  She successfully completed a PhD in nursing; her research focusing on adolescent concussion.

BENJAMIN GRIFFITH

Steve Mackie is the founder of Storage Strategies, Inc. (SSI).  Steve has over 30 years of leadership and management experience, 15 years in the field of enterprise information technology.  Before founding SSI, Steve was a Business Development Account Manager for Wyle Inc, and president of Solunet Storage, Inc. Steve spent over 20 years proudly serving in the U.S. Navy as a P-3C Orion Navigator and Tactical Coordinator with a specialty in command and control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) systems.  Deputy Resource Sponsor for the Department of the Navy's Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) program, a managed funding for an IT seat services contract valued at over $9.9B.  

 

Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Southern New Hampshire University.  Steve serves as a Board Member of LinkAcross USA a non-profit organization which promotes economic, health, and community development in the Balkans.  

Ben Griffith is currently a medical educator and simulation specialist for Best Practice Medicine, Bozeman, MT.  In 2018 he pioneered simulation medical training to critical access hospitals and rural EMS systems throughout the state of Montana via a mobile simulation lab.  A former police officer/flight paramedic with Fairfax county, Ben draws on 24 years of prehospital care experience to aide in providing education through simulation to all levels of medical professionals from Emergency Medical Responders to Doctors.  

 

Before becoming a simulation specialist, Ben worked in the technology industry managing a diverse customer base from contract management to systems support.  He found himself at home in the corporate world after several years in law enforcement and aviation paramedicine.

Ben holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute, as well as a graduate certificate in pre-medicine from Montana State University.  Through the the course of his pre-hospital career he has held certifications in Critical Care Paramedicine, Tactical Medicine, and maintains his certification as a National Registered Paramedic.

Sarah is an RN-BSN and Virginia-certified Paramedic.  She spent 6 years in ground medical transport as a paramedic, 2 years working as a critical care paramedic with a hospital-based PICU/NICU ground transport team.  Since 2015 she has worked as an RN in the OR, medical-surgical and emergency room specialties in Level I and II trauma centers and community hospitals.  She obtained her BSN from VCU in 2016. On her professional bucket-list is volunteering with the clinical team of providers at Samaritan's Purse, but for now she is busy raising her growing family with her husband!
